Mampostería

This short video shows the stone mason chipping limestone into thin, linear stones to be used to infill the mortar joints of the traditional mamposteria wall. This will be on the west side of our property under a traditional Mame Sapotea tree. See this link for a description of this tree.

Jeffrey Scherer

Jeff is an artist and retired architect living in Portland, Oregon. After practicing architecture in Germany, France and the United Kingdom from 1971 to 1977, he co-founded Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle, Ltd Architects in 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota (now called MSR Design). He was an adjunct professor from 1978-1998 at the University of Minnesota College of Design. Jeff was elevated to Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 1998. For over 50 years his architectural interest and personal passion has been the public library and its important role in our communities.
