Excited

Lea and I will visiting Merida December 11-17. We are so excited to see the progress of the construction and get a feel for the scale and relationship of the rooms. I am also excited to see how the sun moves through the space.

Jeff is an artist and retired architect living in Portland, Oregon. After practicing architecture in Germany, France and the United Kingdom from 1971 to 1977, he co-founded Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle, Ltd Architects in 1981 in Minneapolis, Minnesota (now called MSR Design). He was an adjunct professor from 1978-1998 at the University of Minnesota College of Design. Jeff was elevated to Fellow of the American Institute of Architects in 1998. For over 50 years his architectural interest and personal passion has been the public library and its important role in our communities.
